For soldering irons series 907, 900M, 900L, 908, 913, 914. Used in soldering stations of many manufacturers
Ceramic heating element HAKKO1321 with a built-in thermistor as a temperature sensor.
PTC ceramics, not a nichrome spiral in a ceramic shell.
Rated supply voltage - 24V.
Rated power - 50 W.
In some models of soldering stations, the heater supply voltage is higher, which means the power output is higher. With properly organized PID temperature control of the soldering iron, such a heater tolerates exceeding the rated power well, but it is necessary to monitor the quality of the soldering tips used. Cheap tips with reduced thermal conductivity and violation of installation dimensions significantly reduce the life of the heating element.
The fundamental difference between this heating element is the resistive temperature sensor. It cannot be installed instead of a similar heater with a nichrome spiral and a thermocouple!
To avoid confusion, pay attention to the external distinctive features of the original heater:
-
There is a longitudinal groove along the entire heater, formed during production;
-
the outer end of the heater is designed in the form of a flat disk, with a diameter slightly smaller than the heater itself, as if with a step (on nichrome heaters, the end cap is in the form of a fungus or is simply covered with ceramic paste, sometimes it falls out).
A working element has a resistance between the heater terminals of about 3-4 Ohms, and a resistance between the temperature sensor terminals of about 40-60 Ohms.
Carefully inspect heaters when purchasing, beware of counterfeits.
Packaging: blister with insert (protects from damage during transportation).
All heating elements are tested before being put on sale - visual inspection, checking the resistance of the heater and temperature sensor.
Warranty does not apply to heating elements.
