Purpose
Used to insulate PCBs exposed to impact high temperatures during operation, for example, in vehicle engines, aviation and aerospace engineering. It is also used for insulation of communication equipment, measuring instruments, in shipbuilding, power engineering and heavy industry.
The high elasticity and resistance to sudden changes in temperature of ISOTEMP varnish allow it to be used for impregnating windings of transformers and electric motors operating in harsh operating conditions (e.g. circulating pumps with heating systems).
Recommended use
Shake well before use. The surface to be treated must be cleaned and degreased. Apply the aerosol by spraying from a distance of approximately 30 cm, otherwise drips may form on the surface. The resulting layer dries until it is tacky within one or two hours and fully cures after 24 hours.
The spray head of the aerosol is self-cleaning. If it gets clogged, clean it with ISOTEMP Thinner .
Caution To achieve maximum electrical and mechanical performance, the coating should be heat treated for one hours at 200°C.
