Universal USB adapter - KL-line, is designed to diagnose cars using a personal computer and is used to match the signals of the USB port with the signals of the ISO-9141 (K-line) interface.
K-L-line adapter is designed to connect a personal computer with a vehicle diagnostic bus - ISO-9141 interface. This project is intended to assemble an inexpensive device using the specially designed ch-c0010pcb printed circuit board. To reduce the size of the adapter, the circuit elements are located on both sides of the printed circuit board, which made it possible, if necessary, to place it in the KM1 case. The adapter is powered from the USB port. An LED indicator is provided on the board to control the connection to the USB port. To indicate the exchange via the serial port, the RX and TX LED indicators are built-in. To control the connection to the vehicle's on-board network, a 12-volt LED indicator is built in. The adapter allows you to connect to control units with both a 12-volt and a 5-volt bus; for this, a 5-volt stabilizer is built into the adapter and there is a bus voltage selection jumper.
