The A2175HBT-TC fan has a new type of motor (Alveolate) with a starting and working winding. The energy required for starting is supplied via an integrated capacitor to the starting winding - thus ensuring reliable starting even at low supply voltages. Compared to traditional models, this case results in much lower current consumption and reduced fan heating.
The motor has a built-in thermal protection that cuts power to the fan if the temperature exceeds 110°C and turns it back on when the temperature drops below 90°C.
