Pantograph with an open balance bar mechanism, i.e. the springs are located outside, on the levers of the pantograph.
This design is not only simple and reliable, but also a kind of technical design element.
The levers of the pantograph are metal, painted with a powder paint resistant to damage.
Plastic lens housing with ring light.
The magnifier is closed by a hinged protective cover.
An increase of 3 diopters (magnification factor x 1.75) is optimal for comfortable work with a hand tool (soldering iron, tweezers, screwdriver, etc.). With this magnification, a focal length of about 250 mm allows you to work freely under the lens without touching it.
Backlight lamp - fluorescent, with electronic ballast (located inside the lens housing). The luminous flux of the lamp is equivalent to that of a 100 watt incandescent lamp.
Lamp switch on the upper plane of the lens housing.
A transparent plastic diffuser protects the lamp from accidental mechanical damage during operation and transportation.
Clamp bracket for fixing the lamp to the edge of the table.
The maximum thickness of the worktop on which the clamp can be installed is 60 mm.

Attention!
Always close the lens cover after use!
The cover not only protects the lens directly from dust and damage.
The main purpose of the cover is to prevent fire.
After all, when you use a magnifying glass, you usually place it at the height of the focal length from the table surface. If the table is near the window, then the sun's rays focused by the lens can set fire to objects on the table (paper can easily catch fire even from a magnifying glass of much smaller diameter).
Take this caveat seriously, precedents have already happened with our clients!
