This ensures not only high illumination power, but also the absence of shadows (usually in similar magnifiers, two 9 W lamps are used, located along the short edges of the lens).
The magnification of 3 diopters (1.75 times) provided by the lens is optimal for comfortable work with a hand tool (soldering iron, tweezers, screwdriver, etc.). With this magnification, a focal length of about 250 mm allows you to work freely under the lens without touching it. A rotating secondary lens with a magnification of 12 diopters, if necessary, will help to see the smallest fragments of the object. Reinforced 90 cm pantograph design allows for magnifying glass in any position, powerful springs dampen vibration well. The device can also be used as an energy-saving table lamp. For safe operation, the lamp is covered with transparent protective covers.
