Alcohol-soluble viscous flux KMF-75V is a low-melting flux of a new generation, non-toxic and non-aggressive towards metals, based on catalytically hydrogenated rosin with a changed molecular composition.
It consists exclusively of substances used in the food and cosmetic industry, which makes it safe for health.
Designed for soldering both BGA chips and any other microcircuits. The main application is working with radio components and printed circuit boards, although the range of use is not limited.
The flux does not contain any foreign active compounds.
The main component of the flux is catalytically hydrogenated (with hydrogen under pressure on a palladium catalyst) rosin, the molecular composition of which has been changed through a series of special chemical transformations.
Chemical modification of hydrogenated rosin is carried out in order to obtain the specified physicochemical properties of the flux while maintaining its homogeneity, increasing resistance to oxidation by atmospheric oxygen and eliminating the ability to parasitic crystallization.
The main concept of this flux is ease of application, homogeneity, low melting point, high melt fluidity, resistance to oxidation and charring, ease of washing off. Does not slag the soldering iron tip and does not create unpleasant odors.
KMF-75V is very easily washed off with popular organic solvents (ethyl alcohol, isopropanol, acetone, ethyl acetate). Also, the flux is washed off with gasoline or a gasoline-isopropanol mixture.
The flux does not contain toxic compounds and its vapors are not hazardous to health.
