IC ISD18B20, which is a single message recording/playback device.
The records are stored in an on-chip non-volatile memory, providing an indefinite storage period for the message.
Data storage in built-in flash memory, up to 100 years and 100,000 erase/write cycles.
Time for recording/playing one message is 8-20 seconds.
Features:
1. Supply voltage: DC 2.4-5.5V
2.With built-in audio amplifier, this IC can drive the speaker directly (recommended 8 ohm 0.5W).
3. There are input circuits for connecting a microphone.
4. Can be controlled by a microcontroller.
The duration of the sound for a sound microcircuit is regulated by the value of the resistance of the resistor R4 mounted on the printed circuit board.
By changing the resistor value from 80 kOhm to 200 kOhm, you can change the duration of recording and, accordingly, playback, from 8 seconds to 20 seconds.
It is quite natural that with an increase in the duration of a sound fragment, the sound quality decreases somewhat.
The sound microcircuit is controlled by three buttons and two switches.
Button S1 - record, turn on the stopwatch, simultaneously press and hold the button S1 and speak.
S2 play button, enables one-time full playback of the recording when pressed shortly.
The S3 button plays the recording if it is held down, after releasing the button, the recording stops immediately.
Switch SW1 is turned to the closed position for pass-through of sound from the microphone if an external amplifier is used.
Switch SW2 to the closed position if you want an endless looping of the recording.
