The device can be used not only as a pyrometer, but also as an ordinary contact thermometer. The set includes a K-type thermocouple with an open junction; there is a socket for connection on the pyrometer.
If you need to measure the temperature of a liquid medium, you can connect any K-type thermocouple in a sealed design.
