USB PL2303HX - UART RS232 TTL converter is used for programming microcircuits and microcontrollers supporting TTL signal levels (0 - 5V).
Practical application - flashing various devices on microcontrollers. USB PL2303 - RS232 TTL converter has two interfaces: for connecting to a computer and for connecting programmable devices. A standard USB interface is used to connect the device to a computer; a 4-wire interface is used to connect programmable devices. These are 4 conductors with female connectors at the end, for pin contacts with a distance between contacts of 2.54 mm. Female connectors are not interconnected in one connector, which gives them freedom of movement.

Assigning wires by color:
  • Red+5V
  • Black GND
  • White RXD
  • Green TXD

In order for the adapter to work with a 3.3 volt power supply, you need to disassemble the plastic case and re-solder the red wire from pad +5 to pad +3.3.

Cable length 900mm.
