The focusing of the beam is rather narrow, long-range. But lensless focusing, due to the geometry of the reflector, has a lack of a clear boundary of light, which in this case has a positive effect: the main beam illuminates the road straight ahead, and the side illumination illuminates the roadside.
The rubberized sealed switch on the rear end of the lamp housing is constantly illuminated when the battery is connected, it is clearly visible in the dark.

In the range of supply voltages from 3.7 V to 5.1 V, the brightness of the flashlight is stable, with a decrease below 3.6 V, the brightness decreases.
The current consumption at 3.6 V is 1.8 A, which is the maximum value. At 5.1 V, the current is reduced to 1.2 A.
