The YZ1515X head is for a peristaltic pump and is the pump itself without a drive.
A peristaltic (metering) pump is a type of pump for pumping liquids and pasty substances. The principle of operation is based on the squeezing of an elastic tube by rollers rotating around the circumference, which push the liquid to the pump outlet. The peristaltic pump is self-priming. Constructively consists of a silicone tube, three rollers and a track to which the rollers press the tube, narrowing its flow area
Peristaltic pumps have several advantages over other pump types.
The pump head material is made of PPS (polyphenylene Athlete) modified nylon plastic, it has stable physical and chemical properties, acid and alkali resistance, high mechanical strength and easy-to-install pump head design, and allows quick and easy hose replacement. Roller made of 304 stainless steel. Number of rollers: 3 pieces.
-
The pumped medium only comes into contact with the silicone tube.
-
High availability, minimal downtime and maintenance.
-
Low labor intensity for installation, maintenance, cleaning.
-
High maintainability, the part most susceptible to wear is the easily replaceable silicone tube.
-
Good repeatability of flow versus rotor speed, better than ±0.5%.
-
Relatively low noise level.
Due to their advantages, peristaltic pumps have found their application in various fields: medicine, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, dosing and transportation of liquids in chemical production and laboratories, sample preparation (supply and pumping of reagents and components) before analysis, water treatment and water purification, when dyeing fibrous materials, in the pulp and paper industry, brewing, printing and packaging production, food and beverage production, dairy factories, bakeries, food production, textile industry, production of pure chemicals. It is possible to use both a spare for the pump BT300 , and for independent design of peristaltic (metering) pumps.
