Significant changes have been made to the memory program, which became possible due to the transition to a 16-bit Texas Instruments MSP430FR5972 microcontroller, which has a 12-bit ADC with a speed of 200 thousand measurements per second, 16-bit timers with unique capabilities.
This made it possible to raise to a new level the ability of the charger to track the battery parameters during the charging process, and the unique memory of the FRAM technology made it possible to store more dynamic data. Additional possibilities became possible also thanks to the use of a quasi-resonant converter on the FSFA2100 microcircuit and a synchronous rectifier in the low-voltage part in this model.
This made it possible to increase the power of the charger to 450W and charge currents up to 30A, as well as to enable Users to apply three types of modulations for faster battery recovery after severe sulfation.

The charger can work with batteries 2v, 4v (lithium); 6v (lead), 8v (lead), 12v (lead), and there are also two custom setting modes.
The changes concerned an increase in the reliability of operation in modes of high (15A-30A) currents, optimization of the microprogram code.
 
This charger contains a circuit for automatic measurement of the internal resistance of the battery. For a description of the measurement algorithm, see the Instructions.
 
Compared to the earlier SOROKA chargers, the 7th version takes into account the operating experience of the earlier SOROKA chargers, and makes hardware and software improvements aimed at increasing reliability.
