The
TELSY CP220 USB light and sound detector is designed to signal the loss and appearance of voltage in the household AC 220 volt network.
For the device to work, you must turn it on to any 5 V power source with a USB connector. It can be an ordinary wall adapter for charging a mobile phone, even a low-power one, from an old mobile phone.
The detector does not have a battery or accumulator.
The device must be connected to the network for at least 10 minutes to bring it into a standby state. During this time, the device is charging, after which, in the event of a power failure in the socket, the detector may emit an intermittent high-pitched sound signal (beep) for at least 10 minutes.
At the end of the detector housing there is a three-position switch that sets the operating mode of the device.
-
position I - intermittent sound in the event of a power failure in the network
-
position II - constant sound when electricity appears in the network
-
position 0 - sound signal is disabled
A light indicator (red LED) is installed next to the switch and glows with a constant red glow when the supply voltage is applied in all positions of the switch, and also flashes when the mains voltage fails. The flashing of the LED allows you to find the device in total darkness even after some time after disconnecting it from the mains adapter.
