Pastes 131-179 is a highly viscous gray opaque mass.
Unlike KPT-8, this paste reduces thermal resistance by 40% more effectively, providing reliable heat removal from heating elements.
The possibility of long-term operation of paste 131-179 is largely determined by specific conditions. So in a layer sandwiched between two surfaces (heating and cold base) with a relatively small area of ​​contact with the external environment, the stability of the paste is great. Paste KPT-8 dries up and loses its properties with a relatively large contact with air and a temperature of more than 150°C. In high vacuum conditions, paste 131-179 must be used.
