The adjustable wrench is a handy multi-purpose tool that replaces a whole set of open-end wrenches.
The wrench consists of three main parts - a handle with a fixed jaw, a movable jaw with slots (comb), which is inserted into a groove in the fixed jaw, and a worm adjusting screw that engages with the comb.
Turning the adjusting screw-worm in one direction or the other, move the sponge and change the size of the throat.
For ease of use, a millimeter scale is applied to the fixed jaw of the key.
There is a hole at the end of the handle for hanging the key during storage.
The handle is rubberized, does not slip in the hand.
The disadvantage of any adjustable wrench is that it is designed for less turning force than a conventional open-end wrench. Its movable joints have a slight backlash and may not withstand excessive load. Do not exceed the permissible forces, do not lengthen the handle to increase the torque.
