Liquid for ultrasonic baths.
ICM 505 is a ready-to-use cleaning fluid. This product is halogen-free and is specially formulated to remove solder (solder paste) residues from boards by immersion in liquid or by ultrasonic cleaning. Its complete solubility in water ensures easy cleaning. ICM 505 does not contain inorganic substances (e.g. caustic soda) and therefore does not corrode metal alloys. Considering the recommended operating conditions, the plastic materials commonly used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards work well with the cleaning fluid.

Application:
ICM 505 is used off-the-shelf. The optimum operating temperature is between 50°C and 55°C, but a higher temperature can also be set up to 65°C. After cleaning, it is recommended to moisten the components in distilled water at 50°C. Repeated treatment will improve the result. The guaranteed shelf life in a tightly closed container at a temperature of 5-35°C is twelve months
