Alexey Sevruk Identification systems Leuze electronic
One of the mandatory requirements in Ukraine for the production or import of goods from abroad is the presence of markings on products and products. It is also important to ensure the electronic identification of the final product using the marking applied to it. The identification process allows you to optimize time and material costs in the production, storage and delivery of finished products to the consumer. The article offers for consideration the equipment of the German company Leuze electronic for the identification of products, as well as the precise positioning of objects.

Andrey Altukhov, Alexander Mityagin, Alexander Shustrov Small-sized detecting devices of the "electronic nose" type for the detection and recognition of odors
To create fundamentally new intelligent electronic express detectors, it is proposed to use multisensor type sensors with the ability to recognize computer "images" of the analyzed substances. Sensors based on resistive semiconductors are used as sensors. On the example of an analyzer of two sensors, the following issues were investigated: detection of low-volatile substances, detection limit (sensitivity to a substance, taking into account the distance to the object being examined), selectivity of detection, duration of the measurement cycle, probability (reliability) of correct detection of a substance, probability of false alarms. A multisensor type sensor of 6 sensors is presented and a developed simple but effective working algorithm for detecting a substance by characteristic points is described.

Franco Canestri RFID Technology - Testing Challenges
RFID (radio frequency identification) technology is used in all areas of automatic data logging and provides contactless identification of objects. It is widely used in many areas, from automation of production processes, access control, animal identification and e-passports to medical applications, travel tickets, contactless smart cards and systems for controlling the movement and delivery of goods.
The article provides a historical overview of the development of RFID technology and describes the main areas of application of this unique technology. The second part of the article outlines the technical aspects of data transmission between the various radio frequency components of the RFID system. Finally, it describes the testing requirements during the design and installation phases, as well as the test equipment used to execute and validate the test scenarios. Emphasis is placed on the benefits of self-tuning spectrum analyzers and the demodulation features of the latest vector signal analysis (VSA) software.

Evgeny Zvonarev Digital Power Supply Controllers from Texas Instruments
Digital control in Texas Instruments (TI) Fusion Digital Power switching converters is a promising new direction in power supply design for a wide range of applications - from DC/DC converters at the point of load or Point-of-Load to AC/DC converters. power. The UCDxxxx series of specialized microcircuits allows software control of the power supply and the performance of the power supply system. The control and programming of such power supplies through the GUI (Graphical User Interface) allows you to create a system for intelligent control of the output voltages of the power supply, to implement a "soft" start, and many other functions.

Vladislav Filippov, Igor Robul Prospects for the use of speech for authorizing users in access control systems
Any enterprise in the modern world faces an acute problem of protection against unauthorized access to its material (premises, buildings) and virtual (computer databases) resources. To solve it, various access control systems are used. An important element of any access control system is the authorization method (identity confirmation) of the user of this system.
The simplest to implement way to confirm access rights to a material resource or object is to use a mechanical lock with a key, and to a virtual one - an access password. However, there are other, more modern and reliable methods for confirming access rights.

Valery Zotov Practical course of end-to-end design of digital devices based on FPGAs from Xilinx. Part 12
The twelfth part of the course provides information on the purpose and possible values of the parameters of the synthesis process performed using XST CAD tools of the Xilinx ISE series, with the aim of further implementing the designed device based on FPGA with FPGA architecture. Differences in the structure and content of the report on the progress and results of the synthesis stage when using crystals with different architectures are considered.
The features of construction and characteristics of sets of microcircuits (chipsets) used to build navigation devices for mass use are considered. The most popular on the Russian market portable devices for navigation in the GPS standard are described. A comparison of the main programs used in portable navigators is given.

Sergey Mosienko, Igor Korneev, Vladimir Nemudrov Navigation Receiver Modules: Problems and Prospects
Today, the development of the GLObal Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS) is one of the priority programs of Roscosmos, because without it, in a few years Russia will remain defenseless. The GLONASS system is also important for Russia because, in terms of technology, our country simply cannot make another leap forward today. This opportunity must be seized, especially given our advanced positions in space. In addition, it would certainly contribute to the rise of the domestic electronics industry. However, today billions of rubles are spent on the space sector of the GLONASS program, and much less attention is paid to user navigation equipment (NAP).
The entire GLONASS system is divided into independent parts. At the same time, the military does not care about the civilian sector. The enterprises of Roskosmos are unlikely to master the production of mass civilian goods, which is not typical for them. And no one notices the industry requests of surveyors, tourists, miners, sailors, road workers, builders - almost everywhere now there is a need for accurate determination of coordinates. Until GLONASS fully and guaranteedly starts working, no one will risk money. It is not worth waiting for commercial firms to proactively begin to develop and produce NAP. Therefore, it is logical to expect that the state represented by state corporations will become the customer for the development of the chip - a module for determining coordinates by a satellite signal.
