Closed loop thermostat (thermostat) in the handle of the soldering iron.
The LED visible through the transparent plastic of the handle indicates the operating mode of the thermostat (lights up when voltage is applied to the heater and goes out in pauses).
Ceramic heating element located inside the hollow soldering iron tip.
Heater Diameter 5.8mm - Larger diameter provides high heat transfer area.

The tip is durable, chrome-plated. The basic configuration of the soldering iron includes a tip with a tapered tip .
Attaching the tip with a pressure glass with a union nut located at the very handle.
This attachment of the tip provides good heat transfer from the heater and easy, quick replacement.

Replacement tips (purchased separately, not included with the soldering iron):

Tip YH-908/907B [0.8mm cone]
Tip YH-908/907K [knife-shaped 5mm]
