A plastic welding hair dryer differs from conventional construction hair dryers primarily in the small diameter of the heater body (i.e., the barrel, if we can use “weapon” terminology).
The diameter of the trunk in the middle part is 32 mm, length 130 mm.
These dimensions allow you to place the hair dryer at the required angle, even when working in awkward, hard-to-reach places.
Also, relative to its construction “brothers”, this hair dryer has a reduced nozzle diameter - only 15 mm (internal diameter). In many cases, a smaller diameter nozzle will not even be needed.
The set includes two reducing nozzles with a diameter of 8 mm, a length of 32 mm and 40 mm.
The body and barrel of the hair dryer are completely metal, nickel plated.
The air temperature control knob is located at the rear end of the housing, in the center of the air intake grille.
A hair dryer for soldering plastic can also be used as a radio installation hair dryer for soldering components and shrinking heat-shrinkable tubing.
