PAR38 COB LED spotlight equipped with a reflector emits a directed light flux onto the illuminated surface. Since the luminous flux is not scattered in space, but is directed directly to the illuminated area, at the same power, the illumination level is noticeably higher than that of conventional LED lamps. The conventional E27 base makes PAR38 COB lamps suitable for use in a variety of luminaires. We have tested these lamps to illuminate the workplace of a laptop and smartphone repairman. The lamp was placed in the lamp shade on a pantograph and from a distance of 300 mm it gave very good illumination, sufficient for a confident study of elements, soldering points of elements, tracks. Small fluctuations in the mains voltage do not affect the luminous flux of PAR38 COB, because This spotlight is equipped with a driver. The radiator of the lamp removes and dissipates heat very well and heats up slightly during operation.
