One-component UV or visible light curing adhesive. Under the influence of light radiation, the acrylate polymerization reaction occurs.
Application: gluing glass to glass (main application), glass to metal, glass to wood. One of the details should be transparent.
For bonding large areas of work surfaces.
Strengths:
does not require mixing, instantly hardens at the right time, almost odorless, high adhesion to specific materials, does not require mechanical processing or activation of surfaces before gluing. Most adhesives of this type adhere firmly even to non-greased and oxidized surfaces.
The fastest curing occurs when irradiated with ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 395 nm or direct sunlight. Irradiation with the light of fluorescent lamps or incandescent lamps is allowed, but in this case the polymerization rate drops significantly, and the adhesion strength is not guaranteed.
The initial polymerization of this type of adhesive occurs within 10-30 seconds depending on the radiation source, the final curing proceeds autocatalytically within 30-60 minutes without exposure to light.
Instructions for use :
Use only for the corresponding types of material specified in the purpose of the adhesive!
Do not suck excess glue back into the tube!
Do not allow direct light to enter the inside of the tube! Do not work in direct sunlight!
Wipe the surfaces to be glued, degrease if possible. Apply the required amount of glue to one of the surfaces. Align the parts, make sure there are no air bubbles. If necessary, repeat the alignment of the parts. Fix the parts securely. Expose the adhesive to a UV source or direct sunlight. Before use, it is recommended to test exposure of a small amount of glue and select the optimal exposure time. Immediately after the glue has set, the fixation can be discontinued. If the product is exposed to mechanical stress, it is advisable to allow time for the final curing.
