For repairing large display modules.
LED display for temperature indication.
The temperature of the hot plate is adjustable from 0°C to 200°C.
Temperature correction function: The surface area of the aluminum plate is relatively large, its temperature may change slightly depending on the significant changes in the ambient temperature. The temperature correction function compensates for this potential discrepancy.
The built-in vacuum pump presses the display module to the plate; for this, a field of holes of 150 x 90 mm with a pitch of 10 mm is formed in the surface of the plate. To ensure evacuation, the heater is supplied with a silicone mat 295 x 200 mm with the same field of holes. The surface of the plate is polished, matt for the best fixation of the silicone mat, so that it does not move when docked when the cutting string is pulled.
On the long sides of the heating plate there are guide tubes that are loosely fixed in the supports. The diameter of the guides is 10 mm, polished stainless steel. The plane of the guides is just below the plane of the slab. They are used as supports for pulling the wire string during gluing.
The heater uses a universal temperature controller manufactured by SHENWU Electronic Techology Co., Ltd. Temperature stabilization is implemented on the PID control algorithm, which ensures minimal deviations from the set value.
Attention! this controller allows a maximum setpoint value of up to 350°C. However, it is not recommended to exceed the setpoint value above 200°C, in order to avoid warping of the aluminum plate, as well as to avoid premature failure of the heating element.

For the repair of modern designs of electronic equipment, especially portable mobile devices, special equipment is required, without which some repair operations simply cannot be performed at the proper level.
Such operations include disassembling the display module (peeling off the glass), replacing microcircuits in BGA packages, working with components in ceramic packages and on ceramic printed circuit boards. Ceramics are critical to the heating rate and high temperature gradient of the working tool.
Using the most popular methods of dismantling components using a heated air stream (hairdryer) without bottom heating of the board increases the risk of warpage of the board due to local one-sided heating.
Preheating printed circuit boards allows you to reduce the operating temperature of the thermal tool, reducing the risk of damage to components from thermal shock.
New models of board preheaters allow you to cover a wide range of repair work. This is due to the design of the heating plate - a brushed aluminum surface.
Smooth aluminum warms up the display module evenly.
