A dial indicator is a measuring device designed for absolute and relative measurements and control of deviations from a given geometric shape of a part, as well as the relative position of surfaces.
The cylindrical body contains rack-and-pinion and gear drives that convert the reciprocating movement of the measuring rod into the rotational movement of the instrument arrow. The body is metal, nickel-plated.
The back cover is plastic.
The indicator arrow is multi-turn; one turn of the arrow corresponds to the movement of the stylus by 1 mm.
The second hand on the small dial shows the number of full revolutions of the large hand.

At the working end of the measuring rod is a carbide ball, which touches the part to be measured during measurement.
The measuring head can be fixed to the measuring rod (rod) guide, protruding 20 mm from the body of the mechanism.
Attention! There is no mounting tab on the back of the indicator, please take this into account when choosing the indicator model.
