1 - Black wire - GND - negative pole of the power supply.
2 - Red wire - VCC - positive pole of the power supply. Connection to PWM controllers without an output filter is not allowed.
3 - Yellow wire - FG - open collector output. This output produces a square-wave signal with a frequency proportional to the rotation speed. A pull-up resistor is required for connection from the controller. The maximum current is 10 mA, and the maximum voltage is 30 V. When the impeller stops (jams), it can take either a high or low level. If not used, it should be left unconnected.
4 - Blue (gray) wire - PWM - input for speed control. Signal type: PWM with a frequency of 25 kHz and a duty cycle from 0% to 100%. It has an internal pull-up resistor to the 5 V power supply. The current drain is approximately 1 mA. The controller requires an open collector output. Connecting this input to +VCC is not permitted, as this may cause damage. If not used, it should be left unconnected. The fan operates at maximum power. Depending on the model, when the signal level is low, the fan either turns off (a range of 0% to 20% is not recommended due to instability at low speeds) or operates at minimum power (in this case, 0% corresponds to minimum power, and 100% corresponds to maximum power).
