The diameter of the cylindrical part of the tip is 2 mm.
The beveled end at 45 degrees. At the end of the cut there is a spoon-shaped notch.
Due to the forces of surface tension, a drop of solder is retained in this recess.
This tip shape is ideal for surface mount components and as a general purpose tip.

Attention! all durable chrome-plated blades are factory-tinned. Due to filling with solder during tinning on a new tip, the notch is not visible visually.
To make sure there is a notch, heat the tip to the melting point of the solder and remove the solder from the tip of the tip.
