The advantage of the design of this model of pressing tongs compared to crimping with two opposed dies:
  • wide range of cross-sections of crimped sleeves
  • no matrix change required
  • the erroneous installation of the sleeve in the wrong matrix cell is excluded, and the sleeve not deteriorates
  • wires with a non-standard (lowered) cross-section are well crimped
  • ratchet mechanism with a regulator eliminates the possibility of under-pressing
  • unique crimping profile (square, but herringbone formed by the clamping segments) allows crimping non-standard sleeves with reduced wall thickness or inappropriate diameter
