DSO138 was designed as a training oscilloscope kit. It contains only the basic functions of an oscilloscope without any fancy tweaks.
Simplicity in structure and ease of assembly/operation are some of the main goals of the project.
The heart of the DSO138 is an ARM Cortex-M3 processor (STM32F103C8) from ST.
It uses a 2.4-inch TFT LCD (320 x 240 dotmatrix, 262K colors).
Detailed assembly instructions are included with the kits. Source codes are available on the developer's site and allows the user to add their own customizations.
