Recommended use:
  • for a solid and watertight connection of wires and cables (for example, repairing a submersible pump cable);
  • in the power industry to restore the insulation of cables with voltage up to 1 kV;
  • in telecommunications to improve the insulation of joints insulated with PVC tapes and the sealing of cable glands;
  • for the protection of outdoor telecommunications equipment (TV-SAT).
Characterized by :
  • excellent electrical parameters (dielectric strength 10-18 kV/mm),
  • improved physical properties,
  • high temperature resistance (up to 120°C),
  • high resistance to prolonged exposure to water,
  • ozone resistant,
  • high strength, elasticity and stability of parameters,
  • ease of use.
The tape does not contain any glue. After removing the protective layer, it is completely ready for use. The tape should be applied with slight tension to ensure a snug fit. The tension leads to vulcanization of the contacting layers of the tape, which provides good electrical and waterproofing.
It is recommended to stretch over a layer of self-vulcanizing tape with a layer of ordinary PVC tape to improve the self-vulcanization process.
