The principle of operation of the lamp is based on the fact that, unlike human, the eye organs of insects more subtly perceive shades of light. The mosquito lamp emits a narrow spectrum of light with a wavelength of 580 nm, which causes mosquitoes and midges to feel anxiety and danger, thereby repelling them.
The lamp also does not attract night moths.
