High-precision 24-bit dual-channel module for connecting resistive pressure sensors (strain gauges) built on a chip HX711 . The module is very easy to connect (only two signal wires) and use. There are ready-made libraries for use with Arduino and Microchip microcontrollers. Practical application: creating household scales, dynamometers, measuring force on CNC servo drives.
The HX711 ADC has two connectors for connecting to the load cells, for connecting to the controller and for supplying power: the connector marked on the J1 board is used to connect the load cells. Contact designation: E +, E- (strain gauge power supply); A-, A+(channel A); B-, B+(channel B); the connector labeled JP2 on the board is used to connect to the controller and to supply power. Pin designation: VCC (supply voltage), GND (common contact), DT (data), SCK (clocking) - IIC interface (I2C).
Channel A can be programmed with a gain of 64 or 128 (depending on batch), channel B has a fixed gain of 32. The HX711 ADC can be powered by either an Arduino controller (another microprocessor control device) or an external power supply. Supply voltage 2.6 - 5.5 volts DC.
