Features of this charger model: Charger SOROKA v.8-Basic is
Memory with one power module, all other functions are similar to SOROKA v.8-Plus.

When developing the SOROKA v.8-Basic charger, many years of real experience in using SOROKA v.6 and SOROKA v.7-Profi were used.
Some SOROKA v.7-Profi models currently have more than 11,000 hours of real work without failures and failures.

Changes have been made to the program of operation of the memory, based on many years of real use of the SOROKA v.6 and SOROKA v.7-Profi pulsed charge algorithms, which became possible thanks to the 16-bit Texas Instruments MSP430FR5972 microcontroller, which has 12-bit ADCs with a speed of 200 thousand measurements per give me a sec. This made it possible to take Version 8's ability to track battery parameters during charging to a new level, and the unique memory of FRAM technology made it possible to store more dynamic data.

We have been working hard on technologies for using distributed power modules that allow you to receive large currents, and do not require the creation of single large converters, with all their problems.
In this memory model, one power module is used, it develops up to 16 volts and up to 15 amperes of current.
TOP250 is used as a power converter of the module in this charger model.

The SOROKA v.8-Basic charger allows Users to use three types of battery connection:
1) Charge one battery 6v, 8v, 12v, *Hv (user voltage).
2) Charge two different batteries, 6v, 8v, 12v, * Hv through two independent channels, with different charge modes.
3) Charging one battery 6v, 8v, 12v, *Hv with double current, i.e. two modules work in parallel, for currents up to 30Amperes.

This significantly expands the range of application of the SOROKA v.8-Basic charger, both for personal and industrial applications (service centers for working with many batteries). It became possible to buy a memory "for growth", without spending a lot of money right away, i.e. buy a memory charger with one power module (memory SOROKA v.8-Basic),
at 15Amps of current, and then, if necessary, buy and insert (solder) the second module, and get additional features.

Benefits of using SOROKA v.8-Basic charger:

  •      reduction of battery operating costs
  •      2-3 times longer battery life
  •      recovery of sulphated batteries
  •      prevention of premature aging of rechargeable batteries
  •      increasing the automation of battery charging processes
  •      increase in capacity and maximum output current of the battery

Memory features:

  •      charging heavily discharged batteries with intermittent current
  •      "fast automatic adaptive charging" ("STD" and "AUTO" mode)
  •      adaptive charging with capacity boost up to 100-105%
  •      automatic desulfation (carried out in all modes)
  •      automatic charge-discharge cycles (requires setting of the discharge load by the user)

The manufacturer's website contains information on the method of maintenance and restoration of battery capacity, as well as the theoretical foundations of the design of lead-acid batteries. Various modifications of batteries (gel, AGM) and the necessary requirements for the operation of different types of lead-acid batteries are described in detail.

Due to possible hardware and software improvements of the device and the introduction of appropriate changes, the Operating Instructions are not provided here, on the current page.
