The socket head is used for mounting and dismounting various hex threaded connections. Works in tandem with hand tools with a connecting square 1/4": with ratchets, knobs, extensions, screwdrivers, etc.
Head from a professional line of high quality, allows you to cope with the most complex and difficult work. Made of high-strength Cr-V steel with chromium and vanadium additives, it withstands significant loads, has high mechanical strength, as well as elasticity, which is important when transmitting torque to fasteners. Three-layer nickel plating improves the strength, durability and corrosion resistance of the head.
The geometry of the working hex is machined to precise tolerances and provides a perfect fit with maximum contact to the edges of the fasteners. The head does not "lick" the edges, as the force is applied to the flat sides of the mount, and not to its corners.
The elongated head provides greater access to narrow, recessed areas, as well as efficient installation and dismantling of fasteners in hard-to-reach places. Special notches on the body for better grip in the hand and against slipping of fingers in gloves. The polished head cover is easy to clean with a rag. Large stamped branding is easy to read for quick size identification.
