DHT22/AM2302 sensor is used to measure air temperature and humidity with increased accuracy. The sensor consists of a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor. Also, the sensor contains a simple ADC for converting analog values of humidity and temperature into digital form. Data transmission is carried out over one wire using the proprietary WIRE protocol. It can be used in devices based on Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM and other microcontrollers. To work with Arduino, there are ready-madelibraries.
From sensorsDHT11features greater accuracy of readings and an extended measurement range, the wiring diagram and protocol are identical.
