This programmer is intended for in-circuit programming of Atmel AVR microcontrollers. It is connected to the USB port of a personal computer, has the ability to supply power to a programmable device, select a programming frequency, and is operational under the Windows operating system. The programmer is a new generation and is defined as a USB-HID device, therefore programs such as AVRDUDE, BASCOM-AVR cannot yet identify this programmer. Works with programs such as AVR_FIGHTER, ProgISP v1.72 and does not require driver installation, as it is a Plug&Play device.
The programmer was tested with
ProgISP version 1.72... It is defined as the ZF-008 programmer.
To be supported by the AVR Studio 4 environment, the programmer can be made STK500-compatible. To do this, it must be programmed with an alternative program, which can be found at http://www.obdev.at/products/vusb/avrdoper.html
