Display module heater. Low budget model.
Two preset temperatures, 80°C and 120°C, selectable with a switch on the front panel.
Platform made of 2 mm thick aluminum sheet, platform dimensions 130 x 200 mm. However, the size of the heating element is significantly smaller, so the heating zone is smaller, approximately 100 x 140 mm.
The heater is supplied with a silicone sheet mat, 200 x 130 mm in size, 0.9 mm thick. The mat is placed between the display module and the platform.
The body of the heater is metal.
This heater can also be used to dry BGA chips before soldering.

------------------
For the repair of modern designs of electronic equipment, especially portable mobile devices, special equipment is required, without which some repair operations simply cannot be performed at the proper level.
Such operations include disassembling the display module (peeling off the glass), replacing microcircuits in BGA packages, working with components in ceramic packages and printed circuit boards based on ceramics (ceramics are critical to the heating rate and high temperature gradient of the working tool). em>
Using the most popular methods of dismantling components using a heated air stream (i.e. a hair dryer) without bottom heating of the board increases the risk of local warpage of the board due to one-sided heating.
The use of preheating the boards makes it possible to reduce the operating temperature of the thermal tool, reducing the risk of damage to components from thermal shock.
