The developer module is built on the ESP-WROOM-32 micro-module, a new miniature high-performance combined Wi-Fi+BT+BLE module from Espressif, designed for a wide range of applications, from micro-power network sensors to the most complex applications, such as voice coding, music streaming and MP3 encoding. The module contains all the necessary minimum peripherals, sufficient for a quick and comfortable start to work with the ESP-WROOM-32.
ESP-WROOM-32 is based on the popular ESP32 dual-core chipset, with a variable clock frequency from 80 MHz to 240 MHz, the ability to individually control and power.
Designed for portable and standalone electronics and IoT applications, the module is housed in a miniature 25.5 mm x 18 mm package, has onboard Flash memory, 40 MHz quartz crystal and a PCB antenna providing excellent RF performance.
ESP-WROOM-32 has rich peripherals, including UART, SPI, I²C, I²S, SD card slot, infrared port, capacitive touch panel interface.
One of the features of the module is ultra-low power consumption and flexible selection of "sleep" modes, allowing you to get digits up to 20μA (deep sleep mode).
The module supports the entire stack of protocols WiFi 802.11n and BT4.2, providing this functionality via SPI/SDIO or I²C/UART interfaces. LuaNode32
