The golden brown Kapton tape can withstand temperatures up to 240°C for a long period, and up to 300°C for a short time.
Silicone adhesive is applied to one side of the tape, this adhesive does not leave marks when the tape is removed.
Protects electronic components well from overheating, especially during hot air soldering.
Masking tape for various technological processes:
  • assembly of printed circuit boards
  • powder coating
  • gluing with hot melt glue
 
In addition, tapes have high dielectric characteristics and can be used as insulating materials.
Kapton tape is resistant to aggressive media such as acids and alkalis.
It is also widely used to cover the heating table when printing on 3D printers with ABS plastic.
